Since tickets were for sessions rather than individual games, wouldn’t it be more accurate to average the attendance by sessions (divide by 6) instead of games (divide by 11)?
I went back and forth with that…the percentage difference between Charlotte and Chattanooga was 12% either way.
I went ahead and did it by a per game average because Charleston had one less session than the other two (before Samford joined, they only had one, 3-game, session on day one)…which would have inflated the per session average for Charleston.
This just seemed the fairest way to compare all three. If I had just compared the last two years, I would have done it by session.
Basically, I just put the numbers out there as a discussion starter…everyone else can bend the numbers to their own purposes. ;)
